Born and raised in Colorado, I’m proud to call this state home. I grew up right here in the community and graduated from Bear Creek High School in 2003, where I was a three-sport athlete competing in baseball, football, and basketball. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, shaping not only my competitive spirit but also my work ethic and passion for teamwork. After high school, I continued my baseball career at Colorado Mesa University. Due to injuries, my path shifted, and I transferred to Lamar Community College to continue playing. I later finished my collegiate career at Metropolitan State University of Denver, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Industry and Operations with an emphasis in Marketing. Following graduation, I began coaching with Slammers Baseball, working with youth and high school athletes while starting my career in team sales. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching club baseball and serving as the varsity pitching coach at Columbine High School (2015–2016). Coaching and working with teams isn’t just what I do - it’s truly a passion. I love building relationships with coaches, athletes, and organizations and helping them succeed both on and off the field. I married my wife, Nicole, in 2013, and we now have three amazing kids - Kade, Daxton, and Brixlee — who keep us busy and active in sports year-round. We’re proud to be part of the South Jefferson County community, especially the Dakota Ridge area, and we love giving back to the place we call home. For me, US Recognition is more than a business - it’s a staple in the South Jeff community. I take great pride in helping our customers with apparel, promotional products, team gear, and awards. We truly care about the people and organizations we serve and are committed to delivering quality products with outstanding service every single time.
Jake Palmer

Family, sports, and community are at the center of everything I do. I’m married and a proud dad to two boys who will one day feed into Dakota Ridge High School. Both of my boys are actively involved in football, basketball, and baseball through DRSA, and we absolutely love being part of the Dakota Ridge sports community and the incredible families who make it so special. Giving back is important to me, which is why I coach 5th grade basketball and football for DRSA. Coaching my boys and other young athletes has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey - helping build confidence, teamwork, and character both on and off the field. I graduated from Montrose High School before attending Metropolitan State University of Denver, where I majored in Sports Industry Operations and minored in Management. I also had the privilege of playing college baseball at MSU and am honored to be part of the 2025 MSU Athletics Hall of Fame - an achievement that reflects the hard work, dedication, and team-first mindset that continue to guide me today. My career in team sales began in 2009 with Slammers Team Sales and Pro Shop. In 2014, I founded JSP Performance Team Sales, further growing my experience and relationships within the sports community. In 2020, I became a partner at US Recognition - a milestone that allowed me to combine my passion for athletics, sales, and community service. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hunting, golfing, or coaching my boys in whatever sport is in season. Sports have always shaped who I am, and I’m passionate about serving teams, coaches, and families with the same dedication and integrity that I bring to my own family and community. At US Recognition, we’re more than a business - we’re part of the Dakota Ridge community. We take pride in supporting local programs, delivering quality products, and building lasting relationships with the teams and families we serve.
Stacey Madrid
Office Manager
I grew up in La Junta, Colorado, and graduated from La Junta High School in May of 1992. Shortly after, I made the Lakewood area my home, and I’ve proudly been part of this community ever since. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Val “Guyo” Madrid, for 31 years, and family has always been at the heart of everything I do. I joined US Recognition in 2007, starting in customer service and as an engraving assistant. Through dedication and hands-on experience, I advanced into the role of Embroidery Technician before moving into my current position as Office Manager. Having worked in multiple areas of the company has given me a deep understanding of our operations and a strong commitment to making sure every customer has a great experience. Val and I are proud parents of two sons, Nick and Nate, both graduates of Bear Creek High School. Nick graduated in 2015 and went on to play college baseball before earning his degree from University of Nebraska at Kearney. Nate graduated from Bear Creek in 2019, continued his collegiate baseball career, and earned his degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. My strong roots, loyalty, and work ethic are values I carry with me every day at US Recognition, and I take pride in serving our customers and community.
