SUBLIMATION
Sublimation is a versatile printing process that uses heat and pressure to turn solid dye into a gas, which then bonds permanently to the surface of a specially coated material. Unlike traditional printing methods that sit on top of the surface, sublimation becomes part of the item itself, resulting in vibrant, durable, and long-lasting designs.
Sublimating Hard Goods
Sublimation isn’t just for apparel—it also works on specially coated hard surfaces. This makes it a popular choice for custom awards, recognition plaques, signage, and personalized gifts.
Examples include:
-
Metal plates and plaques – sharp, glossy designs ideal for awards and memorials.
-
Ceramic tiles and mugs – long-lasting full-color graphics.
-
Acrylic, glass, or wood products (with sublimation coatings).
-
Keychains, name badges, ornaments, and promotional products.
Benefits for hard goods:
-
High-resolution, full-color designs.
-
Scratch- and fade-resistant finishes.
-
Professional, polished look suitable for awards and corporate recognition pieces.
Sublimating Apparel
For garments, sublimation works by infusing dye directly into the fibers of polyester fabric. This creates bright, photo-quality designs that won’t crack, peel, or fade with washing. The print feels weightless since it’s part of the material rather than a layer on top.
Best results:
-
White or light-colored polyester t-shirts (100% polyester recommended).
-
Light heather or poly-blend garments may also work, but colors may appear softer.
Limitations:
-
Cannot be done on cotton or dark-colored fabrics.
-
Garments cannot be tie-dyed or dyed after sublimation, as the permanent dye is already locked into the fibers.
-
Results are most vibrant on solid light backgrounds.

DIRECT TO FILM (DTF)
Direct to Film (DTF) is a modern apparel printing method, ideal for low quantities and allows full-color, highly detailed designs to be printed onto a special film, then heat-pressed directly onto garments. DTF works beautifully on a wide variety of fabrics, even dark materials—without sacrificing color vibrancy or durability. Ideal for smaller projects where screen printing can become cost prohibitive.
SCREEN PRINTING
Screen printing is one of the most versatile and durable ways to bring your designs to life. Whether you’re looking for bold, vibrant colors or detailed photo-realistic artwork, our shop is equipped to handle it all. We can print up to 8 spot colors, CMYK process, and simulated process printing, allowing us to reproduce everything from simple logos to complex gradients and full-color images.
LASER ENGRAVING
Laser engraving is a precise and versatile process that uses a focused beam of light to etch designs directly onto a wide variety of materials. Unlike printing, which adds ink or dye, laser engraving removes the top layer of material to create a permanent, detailed mark. The result is a sharp, professional finish that lasts a lifetime.
